It's been about seven years since I shed Christianity in favor of atheism. I'm an atheist of the agnostic type. You can't prove a negative proposition under the rules of logic, so you can't prove that a god doesn't exist. However, there's no point in believing in something illogical and counterintuitive when there's precious little evidence for it...
