Atheist personals?! I don't write about myself all that often, but sure. What the heck?!

I'm a fan of intelligent and/or ridiculous conversation. I find both stimulating and am looking for someone who can be serious, but not always take everything seriously. I'm a little nerdy in the superheroes and D&D kind of way. No, I wouldn't quite fit in the cast of Big Bang Theory (but I like the show!). My nerdiness is balanced out building things with my hands, interest in motorcycles, and martial arts training. I like being outdoors and going camping too. I even go camping in the winter sometimes!

Since I'm good with my hands, I currently
work in the construction industry. My first choice of professions was constructing scenery for theatrical productions. I still do some here and there and I keep my eyes and ears open for the few and far between full-time jobs in the theatre world. I always found it so engaging and I also loved teaching high schoolers how to do it. It just didn't pay enough tough, so I do what I have to like we sometimes have to. Eventually I'd like to get out of the trenches and work with theatres or non-profits on the managerial side of things. There are definitely problems in the world that need fixing and therefore organizations that work to fix them. That's where I really want to be.
