A little bit about me... always difficult. I really enjoy cooking and have what can only be described as a deeply troubling amount of kitchen gadgets. When I'm in the kitchen my inner science nerd comes out quite often. Often it leads to something good, and occasionally to something that even offends the dog. Speaking of the dog she's spoiled, and there are often 2 of them running around my house (my parents dog is often at my house, and mine spends time at theirs). I also have an old cat who is bat**** crazy and mean as a snake, but someone has to love her and it might as well be me. I'm in an excellent place, all things considered. I like my work, my home, my life. I'm not frantically looking for "someone to complete me", nor do I need a bread winner to take care of me. I'm not someone who needs to constantly go out to party, though if it's trying out a new restaurant (or food truck) with a phenomenal menu I'm so there! Be it a small, chef-owned farm to fork or an authentic ethnic mom and pop, it's all good. Standard casual uber-chain, not so much thanks. I'm part of a very small but tight-knit family, and tend to stay to only a few close friends in my day-to-day life. On the rare occasions when I do entertain in my home it's only a handful of people, and usually involves food. It doesn't take much to convince me to fire up the smoker. I'm very independent and strong-minded, but hopefully not difficult or stubborn. I'm not just a free thinker, but also a critical thinker. If after all of these warnings you're interested I'm impressed.
