I've concluded that I am an ambivert.
For most of my life I didn't know that was a thing but when I heard the term, not so long ago, it made perfect sense. I realize that I thrive upon both gregarious social energy AND personal, private, quiet time. I need both.

I have a very high regard for communication; 1 to 1, 1 to many, creature to creature. I think that just about every thing I do is in some way for the purpose of communicating; thoughts, ideas, feelings.

I have work that I care about.
I'm big on laughter.
I love entertainment.
I love food. I cook vegetarian. I love good wine.
I'm a fan of Single Malt Scotch, Martinis and a well-mixed Old Fashioned. And, I love a cold, refreshing beer at just the right moment. That first sip is golden.

I'm a sensitive man. I like to think that I'm aware of the dynamics around me and that I'm empathic... compassionate. I appreciate a woman who values this in a man. I simply recognize that my greatest strengths and vulnerabilities reside in the same place.

I prize my relationships with animals.

Did I mention that I'm big on laughter? Oh yeah, I did. But am I funny? I believe that I am, to thinking people. To people that are most comfortable in the normal, probably not.
