I'm retired at an early age due to an on the job injury. I'm a single dad, my son is 32, and I have a grandson who is 11. I have been helping take care of my grandson since he was 2 months old. Being retired since he was born made it possible for me to help my son. I'm an easy going guy, who likes to take life slow. I am not a rich man from my injury, so I just take life as it comes and deal with it the best way I know how.

To me honesty is a big thing, and to be honest we have to know how to communicate, and do it well. I don't like dealing with the small stuff that can get in the way of a relationship working out, it's best to communicate well with each other so we don't have to deal with the little things that come along and make our day regretable.

Family comes first, which is why I have been helping my son with his son for the past 11 years. I haven't been able to give a woman 100% of my time as she deserves, but my grandson will be 12 soon, and I can now start looking out for me, and taking care of my needs and wants. This is why I am trying a dating site with free thinking women. I was happy to see an atheist dating site, I have been a free thinker for most of my life.

I like to stay in shape, hiking, walking, working out, swimming, camping, cooking, sporting events,concerts, movies. Now that I will have more time for myself, I am open to most anything that I haven't tried during my life.
