I enjoy learning about science and history, visiting national parks and museums. I'm not afraid to try new things. I like learning about human AND animal behavior.
Animal rights are of great important to me.
I’m not a spiritual person, nor do I want to be. I try to stay politically informed daily. I'm physically fit and routinely exercise.
My children are grown and have families of their own. I have 4 grandchildren that I adore and are being raised Vegan. I have two kids that are pre-med who have plans of opening a sanctuary.
I’ve been divorced for 22 years and never remarried. I’ve found that my philosophical position on veganism tends to be challenging for some. Additionally, in this insular region I found that men have no tolerance for women who are atheist.
I spend my weekends hiking and canoeing with family and friends, or driving to St. Simons visiting my daughter. I'm a fan of Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn. TV is just okay. I care deeply for the environment and take care in preserving what I can for the next generation. I prefer someone my own age or older. I'm not interested in men who are younger. I'm not interested in someone supporting me. Look, if women want equality then we need to respond with behavior that is consistent with equality.
I am a strong and independent woman of substance, or at least I think I am :). So if this is what you are looking for then let me know. Please do not contact me if you are looking for someone younger. I'm lucky to have a few good genes but I am a realist. I'm not attracted to arrogance or pretentious people.
