I have many interests including, weight training, dance, writing fiction, reading, martial arts, science, cooking, and investing. My pictures are all recent.I try to attend plays and dance performances in LA a few times a year. I like concerts and listen to most music including Big Band, Jazz, Country, Classical, Classic Rock, Blues, Salsa. If it has a good beat I can usually dance to it. I like to try new restaurants and new foods and yes, I like sushi. I like to learn and have often studied just to teach myself some new mental or physical skill. I also enjoy having intelligent discussions on a variety of topics.I am an Olympic level reader and avid movie fan. I once performed stunts in a B movie (The Demolitionist). I have had my nose broken sparing with a six time world kickboxing champion ( My Hemingway moment). I have been told that I am a "manly nerd". I try to improve myself, to become a better person and live a good life as a conscious effort. I can make personal sacrifices to get what I want out of life.I have taken in two developmentally disabled adults through a program here in B-field. They live with me and I help them with their life skills. I am working off and on at writing a couple of novels. I work out so I will be able to carry my own luggage or walk on the beach when I am in my 90's. My life is really pretty good over all.I am looking for a woman/partner/friend who, like me, is goal oriented and both emotionally and financially adult. The ability to hold intelligent conversation on a variety of topics is preferred. A love of dance, or athletic pursuits would be outstanding but not required. I believe in love and passion but recognize that communication, trust and honesty are just as important if a relationship is going to succeed. I am a romantic at heart, but have learned life lessons well enough to know that compatibility is as important as love . |
