| I Would Describe Myself As | Well, a site devoted to non-believers. I actually define myself as an agnostic, because I don't actually think anyone can really say there is no god...just like no one can say there is a god. I don't believe it is something that is known. And I certainly don't define myself as a sinner. I think of myself as a moral, polite, intellectual who knows right from wrong and doesn't need to be forgiven. I think of myself as sweet and gentle, although it seems like many women, especially Christians and the like seem to need a man to 'protect' them. That tells me their view of society which I don't agree with. That it's a mans world. I think it should be everybody's world. I would like to see a sweeter gentler world and that's how I see myself and would want a woman who sees and appreciates me that way. Longtime UU, artist, musician and philosopher. Hopefully, there is a nice 47 y/o who doesn't drink or smoke. And I am glad there are people who are 'good without god'. |
