Returning to the Los Angeles area after an absence of many years, reconnecting to all the culture, nature, history, people. I'm hard-working, life-loving, "well-seasoned" and a strange combo of mature mixed with a touch of unrepentant adolescence. Philosophical,not at all religious or even "spiritual," a skeptic, yet not a cynic. Love to laugh and to make others do so. The observer in me enjoys reading and writing, and the activist in me enjoys hitting a new trail, working up a sweat at the Y, teaching, organizing and, well: Actually helping people (which I'm lucky enough to do for a living).
