No, I'm not a zombie, but for the moment, I couldn't think of anything better. Anyway, I think my personal ad goes like the following:Sometimes I like to go out--comedy clubs are fun and I like movies. At other times I prefer to stay in. I don't "live life to the fullest" nor do I "live every day like it's my last." If you do, good for you, but there are days (like today) when I don't have any work to do and so I will spend it reading mediocre but entertaining fiction.You have to like books. I very much tend to accept people as I find them but I've found that me and people who don't like to read tend to either not get along very well or simply have nothing in common. Be warned, I am in law school and that's what I do more than full time. I', also a single dad with a 15 year old daughter who lives with me full time. What this means is that my time is limited. But I will find a way to make time for the right person.Finally, I am an atheist and a left winger (more or less) but I'm not aggressively so. I don't find it necessary to confront others about their lack of curiosity with respect to really finding out about whatever god they claim is watching them while they shower as long as they don't expect me to behave as if I'm being eyed by the same ethereal peeping tom. Oh, and I love to write and have written a novel that's for sale on amazon. Coffee. Yeah, I know. But there has to be chemistry and cup of coffee or whatever is the most down to earth way to meet someone--at least it seems that way. No one has to spend a long time getting ready (that's you--it takes me about 8 minutes to get ready).

Graduating law school is the only long term goal I have right now. By then my youngest will be 18 and off to school. At that point I can then move to anywhere I want--or not. It depends.

If I'm at the grocery store I look for food. But since I'm here I'm looking for someone who's smart and attractive. This as opposed to most guys who are looking for someone illiterate and bereft of anything remotely approaching desirable physical features.

But besides the basics, I need someone who can be patient for a while. If I can find someone now who can put up with my schedule now then I will have found someone I can feel safe in owing the rest of my life to.
