I am a single dad to two wonderful boys. They are my first priority. I love them both and am touched each and every day that I spend with them. Does that really have to be mentioned? How many people list there kids and then post, "I don't give a crap about them." I mean, really?

I prefer formal dinners to the club scene. That's not to say that dancing and/or Kareoke isn't fun, I always enjoy going out, but the whole, "Party till I Drop" thing isn't really a skill I like to use much these days. (And it is a skill)

I am a very social person that enjoys spending time with lots of friends. A quiet night at home is always needed, but given the choice I will go out to see friends or have them over for dinner or even just coffee or drinks.

I love to spend time in the mountains. A nice ride or good hike is always a great day. Swimming is my sport of choice for personal activity. I don't do long marathons but I do run the Boulder/Boulder. I am also riding in the Bike MS event this year. (150 miles in two days, go me!) I also love to play Golf, but haven't had much time for it lately.

I am a city boy at heart, I prefer to live close to where the action is. Denver is about as small a town as I want to live in. (Yes I realize I live an hour north of Denver, I am thinking of changing that.) The great advantage to Denver is you are close to the mountains and can run off, away from the chaos any time you want, but you still get the benefits of living near the city. I also love visiting my parents who now live in a small town in Nebraska, but... a city feels like home.

Fifteen years ago I was working concerts, I had really long hair, lots of piercings, and tattoos. (That's right, the bad boy look. Or at least the crap boy look) Now, the hair is short, all the studs and rings are gone, the tattoos are still there but covered with a tee shirt, and I work from home to spend time with my boys. It's important to understand, both versions of that person are the real me.

I work from home so I can spend as much time with my kids as possible. I work on several projects through several companies that I started. Some days I am an Engineering Consultant, some days I am a Site Manager, and some days I am a Product Design Consultant. It's a lot, but I get to make my own hours and do the things I enjoy.

I also started back to school last semester. I have never been much of a student, but I enjoy the rewards of a better education, so I keep going.

I am usually very confident, I enjoy meeting new people and I am never nervous in new situations. I am a loud, animated person and while I don’t necessarily seek it out, I am comfortable being the center of attention and love being in front of a crowd.

I have a variety of interests including golf, music, art, computers, and hockey. I love classical theater, and movies going to either is always a fun time.

I am a music nut enjoying all kinds of music from opera to metal, country to rap, and everything in between. There are bad artists and there are bad songs, but there is no such thing as bad music. When i was working as a sound engineer i did mostly concert production, but i did do some studio stuff which was my real love in the business. As for musical instruments, I only play the clarinet, and while I play it very well, it isn't my favorite, so I have started taking up guitar and piano.

I am looking for someone that can be both prim and proper at a formal dinner and is just as happy dressing down for a fun afternoon. I would like someone that can be very open and talk about everything. Reserved and shy is fine to start, but secrets don’t help build a strong relationship. I need someone that is mature, I am not talking about your age, but how you behave is a big deal. Most importantly, I want to meet someone that has a spark for life and is out to live it.
