I’m new in town and have been taken aback by how many people have started conversations with me by asking me about my religion and which church I’m attending, and who then end the conversation when I tell them I’m an atheist and do not attend church.

Where I came from, such things just do not happen because pretending to know things one does not actually know is not considered to be a virtue.

I’m looking for a like-minded person who appreciates politics, science, music, the arts and fun without a bunch of unsubstantiated nonsense getting in the way.
