I am an artist and an author who is looking for a serious relationship. Some fun is nice, won't lie, but I would like something long term at this point in my life.

I work as a legal assistant near Buffalo, NY, and it's a quiet office and I like my co-workers and I enjoy what I do. I make decent money and I have my own place. But it gets lonely sometimes and what I really want is to find someone who wants to make a life together, a life that will include children.

In my spare time I take walks, spend time with a friendly pup, make art, and write. I have published academic work on Pentecostalism in the journal Sociology of Religion and a book on the origins of religion in Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China with The Edwin Mellen Press which just made its way into 3 university libraries (yeah!). Currently, I am working on a book that deconstructs apostolic succession in the Roman Catholic Church, showing that it is socially constructed and unreal. It will include drawings that I have made of early heretics.

I was raised religious in a psycho Baptist church and then a Pentecostal church and became an atheist around 16. I despise Christianity and do not try to hide this when I am with a likeminded person. Unfortunately, my family is still largely religious. We get along but they don't really get me, and how could they.
