As I'm sure most people here are, I'm tired of making connections and then finding out that the other person's religion was more important to them than they originally thought. I'm in the South and it's become a hurdle I'm sick of jumping, so here I am.

A father of 4 about to have 2 leave the nest (mixed emotions there). Considering retirement, time is the only thing you can't buy so spending it at a job unnecessarily is starting to hurt. Fairly down the middle politically, probably lean just right overall, but I have only voted Independent in the past 20 years. I wish I was more active, but it's so damn hot and humid here, I don't really love where I live and am thinking of making that last "retirement move" and settling into my forever home.
