I've always found it tough to talk about myself but I think I can give it a try. Hi, my name is Nick, and I am an alcho... (wait, wrong introduction). I like to joke and not take things (especially myself) too seriously, it makes life way more fun and enjoyable, and sarcasm is my most used method of keeping things light. I'm a laid back and relaxed person who doesn't let things get to him or stress him out, preferring to just laugh it off and take it in stride. Getting angry and/or irritated is a rarity for me. I'm a bit reserved and shy at first, being more outgoing after getting to know someone. I'm looking for someone like me who is relatively laid back and knows how to relax. I do enjoy going out to bars for a drink, going out for a run or to play some sports, and just generally being physically active, but at the end of the day I like to relax with a good movie or a book. I'm also very passionate about travelling, having spent some time overseas studying abroad in Japan, I would love to travel the world and see all kinds of new things. After I become a teacher I hope to use my breaks as travel time to go to Europe, Japan, and other places that catch my interest. Travelling alone is never as much fun so I'm looking for someone who also would like to travel around to different parts of the world. Things I value in myself and look for in a woman: loyalty, honesty, a good sense of humor, patience, and being good with children. I grew up with a daycare in my home so taking care of kids is second nature for me. Growing up in that environment motivated me to pursue my teaching degree (probably should have gotten my first degree in education but...).

To become an elementary teacher. Most of my life experiences have pushed me towards that goal and everyone I know says it would be a good career choice for me. After I become a teacher I'd also like to use my time off to travel around the world, with the U.K. and Japan being at the top of my list.

I can have fun or find fun doing pretty much anything, whether that's playing sports, watching sports, going out for a drink, and or just staying in to watch a movie. I'm more than willing to try everything once to broaden my horizons and find new things to enjoy. Since I work with elementary-aged children all day I like to unwind with a good book and a drink in the evenings as a way to relax, so my weekends are the days that I like to spend going out and about. I also like to play video games with friends.
