Hi, I’m John and welcome to my profile! First, a little bit about me. I was married for 28 years and don’t have any kids (not by choice). My ex and I have worked thru our issues, asked and given each other the forgiveness that we deserve and are now friends with no drama. I was in the Air Force for 20 years and have lived and traveled all over the world. I have met a lot of people and seen/done a lot of things which have all helped shape my outlook and attitude towards life. I am a very open minded and laid back/go with the flow kind of guy who believes in “live and let live” without judgement. I also follow the Jimmy Buffet philosophy of “I’m growing older, but I am not growing up!” I am looking for an eventual long term monogamous relationship (but isn’t that what we are all looking for?). I know the best and strongest relationships are based on friendship, but I am not looking to become mayor of your friend zone. Been there and done that. I want a relationship where we have some things in common that we enjoy but also have our own interest that we can share with each other. I want to talk/text/see each other on a regular basis. I have the time and the willingness to invest it in a relationship and would ask that you do to. I am also not in any kind of a rush. I enjoy doing outdoor stuff so long as it is not 20 below or 110. When the weather is nice, you can expect to find me out cruising around in the Jeep without the doors or roof. Going 4 wheeling is also a blast, I just have to be careful with my baby since she is the only vehicle I have. Love going to a lake for swimming, grilling and camping. Nothing better that being around a campfire of an evening with good friends, a few adult beverages and having great conversations while looking out at the stars. I love football and hockey. Baseball is great, but it is number three on my list although Drillers games are great especially when they have fireworks! Not a lot of places or things I won’t try. So this is me. What about you?
